1850 messed up in NYC with combined records

When are the 1850 census index records going to be fixed? I want to print the index records as well as the census images but there are people on it who don't belong with my family and are not even on the same page with them!
Has anyone else noticed this in NYC? I reported it months ago but nothing has changed.
How big is this problem? Maybe it's not getting fixed because it's too small of a problem -- to THEM -- or maybe not enough people are complaining! I've only found it in NYC. Has anyone else found it, or found it anywhere else?
