Agreed.........it is vital to do your research or our tree just keeps getting duplicated wrongly and many of the 'greener-thumbed' genealogists take it for granted that it is correct. I don't know how many trees are out there with birth place = Hollywood, CA in the 3rd or 4th century! You'd think common sense would come in to play at those points. I think the newbies just hit the continue button without realy reading the info they are transfering over to their tree, which just compounds the problem! And then again, even I have found out later that I missed one or two here and there and I do try to be careful!
