I have photocopies of christening documents so know where they lived. Urs Hofer and Seraphine Ramu were g-g-grandparents. They had 3 daughters, all born in Switzerland; Jenny Marie born 1849, Anna Amelie born 1853 and Elise Marie (g-grandmother) born Plainpalais, 8 May 1856 and confirmed Grossaffoltern, Bern 1870. She had an illegitimate daughter Jenny Maria in Paris (my grandmother). I also understand there was a cousin called Peter Lanterry but can find no-one of that name.
