Hi Peter,
thank you for your message. No one knows for certain if "my" Dycer family is related to Albert. Albert's line starts with a Daniel Dycer who was supposedly "adopted" by a Dycer family from which he ran away from when he was a teenager. Daniel's birth mothers details are known but no father details and no details on which Dycer "adopted" Daniel. From the research for my tree I have found that there was only one Dycer family on shipping lists which is my family. From my research the Dycer family that arrived in 1855 ended up having only two sons. One is my husbands great grandfather William Ester Dycer and his brother John Christian Dycer. I believe but can not prove without DNA testing that John Christian was the biological father of Daniel. You can contact me by email djdycer@hotmail.com if you would like to discuss further.
regards
Diane
