Ship from Prussia circa 1875-76

My grandfather, Ignatius Kuffel, born in 1873, came to US on a ship when he was 2 1/2 years old. Any clue as to what ship? Debarking from what port? I understand immigrants coming to US before Ellis Island, NY came to New Jersey. Any clues? Thanks!
