Hi,
I'm beginning to look into my grandfathers family history but have very little information. I have his name and date of birth but that's about all. I know he came over to Scotland from Poland or Lithuania during or soon after WW2 and changed his name to its direct translation in England so I have a rough idea what it could be from looking on the internet. Can anyone else offer me any other advice. I know he had brothers and sisters but he never mentioned them so its possible they got spilt up or left behind but it would be good to find out.
