Humberto (my mother says his DOB is Feb. or March 19/1940 or 41 although I have seen Humbertos with a 4/19/41 DOB, He would be around 67 or 68 now), and my mother Joyce did return to California in September 1970, She was 8 months pregnant with me. When they left California they went to Tijuana and stayed with his mother (I was told her name was Maria and her maiden name was either Hernandez or Rodriguez) and father who's name I do not know for a couple of weeks. My mother told me he had three sisters (two older then him) and one older brother, one of his sisters was around 10 years old at the time (January 1970). They then traveled to Mexico city where they lived with Humbertos aunt and uncle. I do not know their names or where they lived except it was in the city. Humbertos father was in liquor sales and traveled to and from the US, His mother was a midwife who had an office in back of their home. They lived in the hills of Tijuana and their house over looked a horse track. My mother and Humberto were never married (so she say's). Humberto and my mother met at a Shell gas station where he worked, I was told it was on the SW corner of Garey and Grand in Pomona, Ca. They lived together at aprox. 1149 east Franklin, When they returned my mother went back with her ex-husband and they lived at 9434 Ramona ave, Humberto lived around the corner at 9355 Pradera ave and I was told he worked at a gas station at the NE corner of Holt and Indian Hill. In the late 1960's Humberto had two young sons, one named after him and one of them attended school near the Franklin address. Humberto was married but separated when he met my mother, Her name was Rosa and she returned to Tijuana when they split, I don't know if they ever divorced. Before he met my mother he also lived and worked in the San Diego, National City, and Fresno area, Sometimes as a waiter and he has also been through the Nogales, Az area. I have Google and Yahoo groups set up with a picture of him from the late sixties, If you got to groups and type in the search "finding sanchez family" it should pop up. I know that a lot of this information is not very complete and that is why it has been a very hard search, One day that picture might be the key. If I can think of anything else or I can get more information from my mother I will post it.
