Surnames: Gregory / Evans
I'm looking for my fathers 1/2 brother.
My Grandfather went to war & had a child to Edith Evans.
I have managed to get a birth Certificate for the child;
Anthony Gerald Gregory.Born 20th March 1945, Holbrook Belper R.D.
Mother: Edith Barbara Rose Evans a Teleprinter Operator, of Abbey Street, Faversham U.D. AT Oak Dene Kings Newton Shardlow R.D
Signature: E.B.R.Evans Mother, 13 Abbet Street, Faversham Kent.
I'm unsure if this child may have been adopted out? but I don't think so as I'm sure my father had contact with his mother & sent letters. I was told that he was known by Gerald Gregory. Any help would be greatfull.
You would assume a mother with a long name would be easily to find but this isn't the case.I have paid for Salvation Army to help but I'm still awaiting a reply
