Have you tried other spellings for Hause? I have a very distant cousin that had to use the spelling of HOUSE, which are many in the Ontario records.
Just to comfirm that the HOUSE family was in NY see:

The name has also been spelled HAUSZ and HAUS. Some of these spellings married into my PA and Ontario Philip BUCK Loyalists family.
