James Eastman, born 1815, son of Benjamin and Mary Waterbury Eastman is buried in Wardsville Cemetery, Ontario. Wife, Mary (Saulter? Salter?) Eastman may be buried with him or in Petrolia where she was living with daughter. A son, William, married Emma McConnell. William "vanished" around 1880. Emma McConnell Eastman is buried at Wardsville, Two of William and Emma's children did not reach adulthood and are buried at Wardsville, Robert Osburn and James Arthur. One daughter of William and Emma, Emma Eastman (my paternal grandmother) married Nathaniel Hugh Jones. Both are buried side by side in Evergreen Cemetery, Detroit. Tom Jones
