2nd marriage not showing as spouse AAUGH!

Every single person I have added show they are still married to their divorced spouse and the current one is below the 'old' one. If I delete one, then add again, they stay put, but then I add a source and many times it wants to take over the other marriage entry, then overtakes the 'spouse' position again. What the HECK am I doing wrong? I've searched for an answer to this, and came up empty. Can a spouse be moved to the proper position? Brand new...only a week...so I have a lot to learn, but so far this is the biggest problem. Thanks for reading, and hope someone can help.
