Gloria Marlene Ross

Gloria Marlene Ross passed quietly into God’s hands at her home on Sunday, August 17,2008. Gloria was born and raised in San Francisco,CA. She married the love of her life, Raymond Ross, in 1963. Gloria worked for the telephone company as a secretary and Ray was with Pacific Gas & Electric. Eventually his career moved them to the Fresno area where she worked as a secretary to the City Council. They retired to Palm Springs were they were active members of St. Theresa’s Church and together they ran the food bank sometimes feeding up to 1200 workers per week. After their move to Prescott,ARIZONA in 2004, Ray and Gloria became active with the Sheriff’s Office Jeep Posse and then with Yavapai County Search Response Team. Gloria loved helping and volunteering. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Prescott AZ. She will be remembered fondly and missed by all.



Gloria is survived by her beloved husband Ray, daughters, Ruth Marie and Marlene, grandchildren; Scott, Taylor and Elizabeth; and preceded in death by their son. Timothy.
