Dale Franklin Mathern died on August 13, 2008 in Camp Verde, AZ. Born on February 18, 1924, in Toledo, Iowa, he was the son of Joseph and Daisy (Dixon) Mathern.
Dale loved woodworking, hunting & fishing, and camping. He was most proud of his family.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Mildred; daughters, Carol (John) Sanders, Beth Mathern, both of Mayer, and Kathryn Mathern, of Marshall Town, IA; sons, Michael (Betty) Mathern, and Larry (Patty) Mathern, both of Garwin, IA, Mark (Earlene) Mathern, and Christopher (Kimberley) Mathern, both of Mayer; grand children, Adrian, Tyler, Shelby, Elyjah, Jason, Ryan, Kacie, Joseph, Kelly, Daniel, Jeffery, Kenneth, William, Sarah, Laura Amy, Paul, and Blake; great grandchildren, Aaron, Chloe, Tony, Austin, Trevor, Brandon, and Dylan; great great grandchildren, Parker, and Payten. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Mathern
