She married Emanuel Voulkos but later divorced.
Ginny was co-owner of the legendary “Manny’s” Burger Inn restaurant in Bozeman for
over three decades, starting in the late 1940’s. Some of her family members also
worked at the diner from time to time in the 1950’s. Oftentimes employees could be
seen as car hops on roller skates for drive-up service back then. Mannys was
celebrated for its generosity to the community, and with enormous and satisfying portion
served 363 days a year; serving starving MSU students, fishermen, hunters, and
people throughout the west.
She was a life long believer in Jesus, and her faith never wavered in spite of her
illnesses later in life. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, and
great-grandchildren. Spending holidays with family was something she always looked
forward to. Time spent with her four great-grandchildren was especially
wonderful for Genevieve, whom the great-grandchildren called “G.G.”
