Seeking information on Anthony Monaghan & son John E. Monahan. Father & son were both NYPD patrolmen. Anthony Monaghan was quite a character and was written about in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle on several occasions. He lived on Bergen Street, Franklin Ave. & finally E. 40th St. in Brooklyn. He joined the NYPD in 1889 and was a member of the Police Veterans Assn. & Holy Name Society. He was with the 12th Precinct, Stagg St. & Grand Avenue Stationhouses.

Son John E. Monahan was with Traffic F in 1927, when his father died. We have no other information on him or his family.
