My Gr Grandfather John Collins and Gr Grandmother's first son John Collins Jr. was born on June 10, 1873 in St. John, Nebraska. In the 1881 Census in Ontario, Canada they are listed with two more sons and in 1883 Dec. 12 they had a dau. born in Ontario Canada. It is said that John Collins Sr took ill and died Feb 20, 1894 in Chicago on his way home to Canada. He had been a school teacher in Canada then he taught in an Indian school in the US before his death. I am unsure exactly what state but believe it was Nebraska. I would appreciate any possible information about him teaching school there in 1873 and again around 1893-94. I do not know either if he was buried in Chicago or back in Ontario, Canada.
