I have contacted the home in Corsicana and they do not have the stored records from that era or any other before it was taken over by the State. Does anyone have any idea how or where to locate those records or any information about persons who were there?
Specifically, I am looking for Armecia Cowart Holt and her 4 daughters: Violet May, Sarah Jane (Sallie), Ruby and Annie. I have found Violet May, but none of the others. Armecia subsequently married James Leroy (Jim) Cunningham. Violet May married Irving Ricketts who predeceased her and then Tom Boulware of New Mexico.
Please contact me at lonestarlass@yahoo.com with any hints or advice of any kind. Dee Ann
