I would appreciate guidance on searching for marriage and birth records for Detroit 1915-17. What do I need to know to search and obtain copies? I have written, submitted forms and enclosed check, to Vital Reords Dept and never got response. I will be visiting Dearborn in late June and would like to search on my own. Any suggestions, insights, "getting around town tips" from your experience? Thank you.
