Dear fellow Haitian. I take this opportunity to highlight some historical data for you. TL was never emperor of Haiti. In fact Haiti did not exist when he was declared Governor-General-For-Life of Saint Domingue, which was then aa French colony under Emperor Napoleon I of France. The First of two Emperors Haiti as an independent State had was Jacques I (Jean Jacques Dessalines Duclos), whom created a monarchy without a nobility (he was to be the only noble in the empire). The other emperor wa Faustin I (Faustin Soulouque) and he created a huge nobility including the Heir to the throne Imperial Prince Ocean. The other monarch who was on Haitian soil was Henri I and Henry II (Henri Christophe) as King of the North Kindgom when Haitia was split between North and South (south had Alexandre Sabes Petion as President-for-Life of the Republic of Haiti). Hope this help.
