The better question is has anyone *not* encountered problems with Family Tree Maker. The FTM message board is filled to overflowing with complaints about the program.
TMG's main problems is that it doesn't handle Unicode and, when run on a 64 bit computer, can't output reports to wordprocessing programs. The report problem is fixed in the beta of TMG version 8. The Unicode problem is basically a FoxPro issue rather than a TMG issue.
