I have some info, war and pensions records, for the most part, on four of my gg Uncles who joined the 3d Tennessee Cavalry (US), were captured by Forrest at Sulphur Branch Trestle and sent to prison at Cahaba. William Riley Kidd died of typhoid while at Cahaba. Lewis Milton Kidd, Alex Kidd, and James W. Kidd survived prison and were on the Sultana. James W. died on the Sultana, but Alex and Lewis Milton made it back to home in Maryvile TN. I have birth and death dates, a little info on their family, but no picures. Please let me know if you would like me to provide you info. There were two other Kidds in the 3rd TN who were cousins of my gg uncles.
